The game remembers your settings and scores by saving them on your headset. That's it. Nothing gets sent anywhere, because there's nowhere to send it — I don't run any game servers.
Four things, all of them living on your own device:
All of it exists so the game can pick up where you left off. Your bow stays calibrated the way you set it, and your scoreboard still has your scores on it.
No analytics, no ads, no crash reporting, no accounts, no tracking. The game doesn't make network requests of its own at all.
Since everything is on your headset, you can wipe it whenever you like. Open System Settings in the game and press Clear Profile — that clears your achievements, calibration, scores and settings on the spot. Uninstalling the game does the same thing.
Meta does collect its own data about purchases, playtime and achievements, under its privacy policy rather than this one — and the same would apply to Valve if a Steam version happens.
I'll update this page and the date at the top, and mention anything significant in the release notes. If the game ever does start talking to a server, this page will say so before that ships.
